The Department of State has announced that DV-2024 entrants have until September 30, 2024, to check the status of their entry through the official website: dvprogram.state.gov. This website allows applicants to check their status using their confirmation number.
The DV-2024 program registration period ran from October 5, 2022, to November 8, 2022. Winners were selected in a random lottery draw and notified via email in May 2023. Those who were selected have until September 30, 2024, to submit their application materials and complete the visa process.
The Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) program awards up to 50,000 immigrant visas each year to individuals from countries with historically low rates of immigration to the United States. The program is designed to promote diversity in the immigrant population.
