Who are the favorites for the 2024 Formula 1 season?

The defending champions and the current Drivers and Constructors Championship leaders are Max Verstappen and his team Red Bull Racing - Honda RBPT. Verstappen is the reigning world champion and has won the last two races of the 2023 season. Red Bull Racing - Honda RBPT is also the reigning Constructors' Champion.

Ferrari is expected to be Verstappen's main challenger in 2024. The Italian team has made significant progress in recent years and has two of the most talented drivers in the sport in Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.

Mercedes is also expected to be in the mix for the championship in 2024. The German team has won the last eight Constructors' Championships and has a wealth of experience and resources.

The 2024 Formula 1 season will begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 5th. The season will conclude with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 24th.

There will be a total of 24 races in the 2024 Formula 1 season, including three new races in Las Vegas, Nevada; Shanghai, China; and Sochi, Russia.
